Dr. Christy Rynd

Dr. Christy Rynd, VMD

Dr. Rynd has known she wanted to be a veterinarian ever since 5th grade, when she read the writings of James Herriot, a British Veterinarian and Writer.  She loves her chosen career because every day is rewarding and has its own unique challenges.  No two days are alike, and the learning never ends in the veterinary field!  She has been helping clients and their animals since 2002, when she joined Greener Pastures.  She grew up in Cambridge Springs, and obtained her undergraduate at Edinboro University and her VMD at the University of PA.  Even though a veterinarian's days may be long, the rewards of serving people and their animals are worth it, whether it's a dairy farmer and his/her cows or a little girl and her puppy.  When she is not keeping the animals of Crawford County happy and healthy, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.  Her love of animals extends to her home as well as the clinic, with her 400 Holsteins, many Brown Swiss, an Australian Shepherd named Sam, 2 cats and a draft horse named Hank.
